Let's face it, it's not easy trying to lose weight. A nibble here a nibble there, and before you know it the scale goes up. There are so many diets on the market today it's hard to know which ones really work. Plus, everyone's body and metabolism are different so what works for one person may not work for someone else. There are a few good websites out there that give good diet tips:
Slimfast.com
Sparkpeople.com
Weightwatchers.com
Just to name a few. We know we should eat better. But that doesn't mean we have to give up the foods we love. Moderation is key. Also if you make small changes you will see big results. Just because foods are "low calorie", "light" or "sugar free" does not mean you can eat twice as much. However switching to these types of food can help. One thing I really like is the spray butters. They taste just like melted butter, yet they have no calories, fat or anything else. Use just like regular butter or margarine on baked potatoes, vegetables, even toast.
Don't be too quick to use artifical sweeteners. Sugar, honey, and agave nectar are much better for your body then the other stuff. Even diet sodas aren't good for you. They just fill you up with empty calories. Instead treat yourself to the real deal once in a while, remember moderation is key.
